Pay for Nothing removes the product entirely. What remains is the transaction itself: the impulse, the decision, the receipt. The ritual of purchase, stripped of its justification.

People pay. They receive nothing. An AI — itself a symbol of our technological moment — writes them a personal note acknowledging what just happened.
